Oh WOW!Sendai has changed so much since the big Great Sendai Earthquake or Great TÅhoku Earthquake, mostly for the better...The Sendai Station is no exception. It's like a mini Tokyo station...now. Lots of places to eat, parking new hubs....From what I recall, the Sendai station is way bigger than it used to be.

I really love this train station. Orderly and organized well. The main hall is one of my favourite parts of the building. Lovely ceiling tiles and the upper floor Shinkansen level is visible from the street. There are also lots of shopping and restaurants here. Connected to the SPAL and various hotels. The pedestrian bridge connects you to Loft, Muji, Parco 1 and 2, and AER.
